Imagine having…
Empowerment In Nursing
I TOTALLY GET WHERE YOU’RE AT!
I remember feeling stuck, hated going to work, and my dating stories were a hot mess. I dreaded going to work so much that I was always “late”, and was close to getting fired.
(Notice “late” in quotes? Because after my boss transitioned to a new job, I found out he was inappropriately writing people up for clock in times. Nice huh?)
Ever treated unfairly or felt betrayed by an employer you’ve given so much to?
I felt like no one listened to me. The people that should’ve had my back didn’t, and I felt another little piece of me was defeated.
Although if you asked me, I would be able to say the quote we all know and love “I’m fine”, right?
How many times do you tell people you’re fine when you know you’re not?
I was definitely NOT fine.
I lost myself.
I felt like a warm body punching the clock.
No one cared.
I didn’t matter.
I forgot who I was and woke up one day thinking how the hell did I end up here and how do I get out?!
Over 10 years ago, I started my own journey to change my life and improve my relationship with nursing. As I began to make meaningful change, my energy levels improved.
I started to feel alive inside and hopeful again. I realized my worth doesn’t come from nursing or any approval in healthcare. I found myself again and that’s something no one can take from me.
I didn’t need healthcare to be fixed and I didn’t need to leave nursing to do it!
As I started to heal and move forward, I looked around and realized I’m not alone!

“I hate bedside nursing”
You’ve got concerns…..I’ve got answers
Ugh, I hate people. Why is this in small group format?
You know those days when you look at the assignment and depending on who’s working you can tell what kind of day you’re going to have?
Having a strong team around makes all the difference!
Here's a little secret….most people who hate people in general LOVE their people.
They’re actually really loyal and genuine! The goal is for you to have community in your corner to support you during and long after the program is done.
The group setting is designed to give you a team of nurses in your corner! It's time nurses start supporting one another and this is the perfect opportunity to fuel that.
Will I really get the attention I want if it’s in a group?
My groups max out at 10 people. I do this to ensure I’m able to connect with every individual there.
You may also get more support than you anticipated as the relationships you make in these groups are meant to last well beyond the length of the program.
All participants also receive a 1:1 coaching session with me directly.
You’ll have the option for more than 1 for an additional fee.
Will this work even if I already hate my job?
If you already hate your job then this is definitely the place for you!!
It’s not your fault! You were only ever taught how to care for others, no one showed you the ropes!
Most nurses I know give to others and have very little time for themselves. If you don’t know make time for you…how will you find a good fit in another profession?
Either way, that’s where I come in!
Pushing emotions down and trying to reassure yourself you’re “fine” doesn’t fly anymore.
Especially since COVID!
You don’t have to quit your job to be happy. This is a safe place with a supportive community to learn and grow.
Do I really need this? I’m getting a higher degree and won’t work at the bedside anymore anyway.
Yes, this is still for you even if you’re looking to leave the profession or are thinking of going back to school for an advanced degree.
I find a lot of nurses going back for advanced degrees to get away from the bedside. Some don’t really even want to, none of the degrees seem appealing, but they’re exhausted and want out.
What they don’t realize is there are things you can’t escape even with an advanced degree. There’s nothing wrong with leveling up, but you don’t want to be back in the same place you started:
Fighting similar battles, except now you have
a higher degree,
higher risk, and
more student loan debt.
Also, with the increase in nurses getting higher degrees it can take longer to find a job. Many nurse practitioners I know are still working bedside nursing for several reasons:
difficulty finding a job,
student loan forgiveness,
make better money with less risk working at the bedside.
I can’t afford it
Isn’t this always the case? You’re willing to pay thousands to go back to school for an advanced degree, change professions, or even take a pay cut to get away from the bedside.
My question to you is:
Can you afford to keep living this way?
What happens when you keep going down this same road?
How much longer can you keep showing up at work before you break, or worse, make a deadly error?
I’m here to tell you that you deserve to invest in you. You invest in nice stethoscopes, work shoes, cute scrubs, eating out, continuing education, and stuff for everyone else but you!
Why wouldn’t you invest in a program that teaches you tools to survive your job?
You’ll need the j-o-b to keep paying for travel, eyelashes, drinks after work, botox, nails, expensive coffee, wine, _____ (you fill in the blank), and student loan debt.
I’d love to chat with you and see how we can make joining this group a reality for you. Book a call with me here.
I don’t have time
That’s all the more reason to sign up! Do you:
take on more than you can handle?
have trouble making time for yourself?
Have trouble saying “No”?
It’s time to re-evaluate your priorities and this group and help with that!
Time management is one of the biggest reasons people hire coaches.
I only accept 10 people at a time!
Groups open 2 times during the year and fill on first come first serve basis.
Next opening: June 2024
Don’t miss out!
Plus…..did I mention
Nursing Contact Hours!
As someone who survived bedside nursing for 18 years, I know what it's like to lose part of yourself. I remember believing the lie we're all told: You don't matter. I'm here to help you re-write that bullshit because YOU DO MATTER! I've been morally injured, burned out, compassion fatigued AND I've gotten to the other side. I know what's it's like to be bullied and I've bullied! That old way of thinking doesn't work anymore. I've made it my mission to empower and support nurses individually and one another using the same techniques I use to empower myself and others around me. I know what it's like to lose yourself, I also know what it takes rediscover and reclaim my life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are groups online or in person?
Groups were in person however due to COVID they are currently only offered online through Zoom at this time.
The ultimate goal is to have both online and inperson groups. I will be having inperson groups again the future.
How often are the groups?
Each group meets just once every 2 weeks.
I work night shift, do you have evening groups available?
As someone who worked nightshift for almost 10 years, I understand the importance of having nightshift friendly options. You won’t be ignored or forgotten about here!
I rotate days/times of the group each time I open doors to make room for all shifts. Also, you’ll get a list of all small group dates shortly after you sign up so you’ll have them ready to go when your scheduling period opens at work!
Is this program a good fit for me if I’m not a bedside nurse anymore?
If you have or have had “nurse” in your title, you are welcome to join. Although it’s marketed mainly to beside nurses, the program is beneficial for anyone who works or worked in an industry that puts the needs of others above themselves.
I’m not a nurse but relate to all this. Can I still join your group?
Yes! You absolutely can!
